DENYSE SMITH
Principal
Denyse Smith LLAM(Hons) established the Knaresborough School of Speech and Drama in 1984. She is a member of the Society of Teachers of Speech and Drama and the LAMDA Association of Teachers.
CATHERINE FEARN
Drama Teacher
Catherine Fearn BA(Hons) was a pupil at KSSD for more than 10 years, gaining Honours in all her LAMDA Grade 8 Examinations before completing a BA(Hons) in Performing Arts at Lancaster University. Whilst studying at Lancaster, Catherine choreographed all the KSSD shows before returning to the school as a teacher.
ROWENA LLOYD
Drama Teacher
Rowena Lloyd LSDE MA(Hons) was a pupil at KSSD from being four years old. She completed her LAMDA Grade 8 Examinations, Diploma in Performance Studies and Diploma in Communication, Speech and Drama Education with Distinction. She studied BA English Literature and MA Drama and Creative Writing in Education.
